Not many would know that her career in the film industry was build through Miss Teen 2013 where she managed to be in the top 5 finalists. Like, Priyanka Karki – the winner of Miss Teen Nepal 2005, it paived her way to Nepali Movie Industry. The bold Khadka was then seen doing music videos which further enlightened her with the core of becoming a model.

Surprised? Well, yes she wasn’t thinking of doing the movie until the producer and the director of Hotel Returns approached her. But then she was convinced with the team of the movie. The script was also good which ultimately persuaded to work as a supporting actress.

She has talked many time regarding her early marriage. It is obvious too compared to those of other Nepalese celebrities. People scarcely marry when they are in their early 20s. In contrast, it was the time to think about her career because she had just appeared in only one movie. But she just got married. Because she was liked by many people after watching Hostel Returns, when Nischal basnet, all of a sudden took her away, in a respect manner she was termed as Rashtriya vauju.

Believe it or not, Swastima is not only a decent actress in films but also in real life. It was the time when the famous YouTuber Aayush Rimal from Texas was back in Nepal. He planned to prank Nischal Basnet. It was executed brilliantly with the support of her spouse. She did really well to fool her husband and the video got a decent view on YouTube.
